mbtmasbate
Masbate's dialect is predominantly Visayan with a unique mixture of Tagalog and some shades of Ilonggo. This is true as far as the island of Ticao. Surprisingly, however, Burias Island adopts the Bicol tongue just like the dialect in Camarines Sur. The reason for this peculiar distinction is its close proximity to the mainland of the Bicol Peninsula. For languages, the people could speak fluently English and Pilipino. Masbate is endowed with rich natural resources. In line with its agriculture are other industries such as large farming, livestock and poultry raising. Along its coastal areas, fishing industry predominates. Agricultural lands are planted with rice, corn, rootcrops and coconut.

donsolSorsogon is characterized by an irregularly topography, except for landlocked Irosin, all the towns lie along the coast. They are all connected by concrete and asphalt roads. Except for its overland link with the province of Albay to the north, it is completely surrounded by water. Sorsogon is the gateway of Luzon to the Visayas and Mindanao through its roll-on, roll-off ferry terminal facilities located in the municipalities of Matnog and Bulan. Being at the gateway between the Visayas and Luzon through the Bicol Region, Sorsogon's brand of Bicol is the unique mixture of the Visayas and Bicol dialects. or languages, most of the natives can speak English and Filipino fluently.
